Well on some video camera's when a person takes a picture, they get a digital readout of the current time of the exact moment when they take a picture. Don't you ever watch the classic version of "America's Funniest Home Video's" with Bob Saget on them?
I;ve seen seasons of AFV with all 3 (Technicly 4 but 2 were in one season) and some people still have cameras with a timer, But I've never seen a Digital Still Camera have one, But yeah, I like America's Funniest
