have to re-register , sorry for the inconvience. Admins let me know
when I can give you back your powers.
Were back on our old host. The
gallery is not set up yet. I will get that up soon. The new
webhost
couldnt support the gallery. Thus why we had to move back to our old
host and restart yet again. .Thank you for your patience.
I have moved Ranger Gallery on to a
new host. At this point we have to start from scratch. You all must
re-register, as all the accounts were lost. I am sorry we have to start
from scratch yet again. But as of now the gallery is open for uploads.

Well looks like I made our problem
even worse. When I tired to fix the gallery a few days back. it seems I
lost the database. So that means we will most likely have to start
over. I still have all the pictures still but I don't have the database
backed up. I still think our orginal proeblem has something to do witht
he webhost. I am trying a few things, but it seems we will most likly
have to start over again. You have me, your dumbass webmaster to thank
for that. In the future I won't be so hasty when we have a problem. I
do still have the old pics, so maybe I can upload them in some shape or
form. I am going on vacation from monday-wedensday. So the gallery will
probably not be up till the end of the week ( if not longer). If I have
to change webhosts I will. I will keep you guys and girls all posted.

As everyone must know by now, the
gallery is currently down. I beleive this is something to do with the
webhost and not Rangergallery itself. ( The PRO Chat seems to be down
as well). Our webhost was bought out and the new owners are in the
process of transfering everything over to their servers. I am not sure
if that has anything to do with our situation. But I will wait and see.
But rest assure the gallery will be back in some shape or form in the
near future. The files themselves were not deleted by the database
error. However, I deleted everything when I tried to
reinstall the coppermine software last night. I thought maybe that
would fix things. But it did nothing. I probably should have left
things a lone till I knew more about the problem. I do have two
back ups of Ranger Gallery. One is current and one is not so current. I
apoligize if my experimentation cost us any files. Hopefully the
back up I took last night works. But in any case I don't think we
will need to start from scratch. I thank you for your patience and
promise you this is not the end for Ranger Gallery.
I have added a fanfic, multimedia, and rules section. The Fan Fics and
Multimedia will be provided by users. I also have provided links to the
Role Playing Forum of PRO. Expect a better splash page soon.
The Gallery should take uploads now. But keep in mind things are still
in the testing phase.
I have added a phpnuke software. This will act as interactive program
that will allow you to submit news stories. As for the coppermine
software, it won't upload any images. So I am going to have to try and

The gallery is back up, well sort of. I am not entirly sure if it will
work, but I plan to get things sorted out once I consult a few people.
Feel free to try it out. However it may crash. But I have settings
backed up so I can get it back up and try to fix. Its all we got right
now.
Ranger Gallery is the largest place on the net for Power Rangers
pictures and graphics. Unfortuntinatly it is also very hard to
maintain. Micheal Bastian founded the gallery and has worked hard to
keep it going. He finally was able to find a good webhost,
unfortunately that webhost is now gone. This is why Ranger
Gallery has
been down for the last few days. Micheal no longer wishes to go through
the headaches of running the Gallery. However, there is still hope. I
have owned rangergallery.com for the last several months. Whole I had
little to do with the day to day operations of it, I owned the domain (
thus allowing me to bring the site back.)
But that is easier said than done. Ranger Gallery pretty much requires
a dedicated server, according to Micheal. and funds for that are
hard
for me to come by. For now I am putting this message up for those of
you interested in helping. If any of you can make any donations,
they
would be very welcomed. Please send any money you can via pay pall, to
tuxedodragon@aol.com. Every little bit helps and will all go to the
servor costs (that go into running Ranger Gallery). I am also accepting
